Wayne Benefiel

Wayne Benefiel, 64 of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 in his residence.  He was born in Liverpool, England on September 20, 1957 to Jack Benefiel and Winnifred Barry Benefiel.

Wayne was an Assistant Planner at Sony DADC for nearly 30 years.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge Aerie # 291, the Eagles Riders Group, and the Sons of the American Legion. He loved riding his Harley and was the absolute best Dad.

He is survived by his daughter Kati Benefiel, and two brothers, Lee Benefiel (Rhonda) and Kevin Benefiel, and nieces and nephews; Charissa, Jack Russell, Tony, Logan, and Josie.  He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Melissa Tague Robertson and Denise Benefiel.  He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, Dean Benefiel and Stephen Benefiel.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Bob Roush officiating.  Burial will follow in Hull Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
