Wayne Fredrick Newburn

Wayne Fredrick “Fred” Newburn, 87, of West Terre Haute, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 in Southwood Healthcare.

He was born April 16, 1934 in West Terre Haute to Wayne Newburn and Edith Murden Newburn.

Fred was a life-long car salesman, owning his own car lot in West Terre Haute, many years ago. He also sold life insurance for Life of Virginia. He was a member of Bethany Congregational Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 68 years, Bessie M. Newburn.

Fred is survived by his children, Michael Newburn (Luanne), Debbie Sims, Cindy Falen (Tom),  and Bill Newburn (Susie). He is also survived by his sister, Carol Irwin (Joe); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
